Linda Huber, LCSW, CASAC, was credentialed as a New York State Alcoholism Counselor in 1986 , received her undergraduate degree from Empire State College in 1993 and her Masters in Social Work from   Adelphi  University in 1996.  Over the past 25+years of practice, she has provided the individualized and specialized counseling experience to in dealing effectively with the impact of addiction and mental health issues on those she works with as well as their loved ones and families.

She has devoted her time and efforts to the Suffolk County Community and held a variety of positions in the human services field. She has worked as a  Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, Program Coordinator, Assistant Director and Director of several NYS   Office of Alcoholism & Substance Abuse Services Residential, Day treatment, Outpatient Treatment & Prevention Education programs on Long Island serving adults, adolescents, and families. She has been a faculty member for several addiction certificate programs, teaching clinical skills and training addiction providers for 25 years.

She has held the position of Corresponding Secretary of the Quality Consortium of Suffolk County, an advocacy group of non-profit addiction & prevention service agencies as well as the co-chairperson for the Suffolk County Division of Community Mental Hygiene, Drug & Alcohol Subcommittee as well as the Chairperson of the Suffolk County Partners in Prevention.
